Welcome to My Website!

I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I have a solid background in statistics. I completed my BS and MS at Allameh Tabatabai University in Tehran, Iran and earned my second MS at the University of Maryland College Park. Then, I completed my PhD at Iowa State University.

Most of my research has been inspired by real applications where I develop new methodology and statistical models with computational techniques. Some are within the areas of Bayesian statistics, nonparametric statistics, time series, network modeling, and measurement error modeling.
